Lions Clubs :
He is associated with Lions Club International since June 1974 and became District Governor in the Year 2003 to 2004 for District 322D which consist of 7 sisters states of North East. Under his leadership more than 5000 IOL operations were conducted in the entire North Eastern Region beside other humanitarian activities like Blood donation, dedication of ambulance, diabetes clinic, homeopathic clinic and promotion of scientific chulas etc. are to his credit. He was also awarded by Lions Club International coveted awards in appreciation of his dedicated services.
Alliance Clubs :
Presently also serving as Executive Director of Alliance Clubs International since its inception on the 5th of September, 2008.
Other Interest :
Organised a much talked fashion show cum beauty contest titled Sparkle from 1990 to 1995, thereby giving an opportunity to youths to showcase their talent.
